We have the house decorated for Christmas and we are getting excited!!!

We have Marty's step son from his first marriage living with us. So I have a 15 year old, 2 year old and a 1 year old at home. Life is very busy these days... But I love every min of it and would not change a thing...

I am going to try and do better about blogging...

Nathan is potty training and is doing very well, Olivia is talking up a storm. Marty and I are both doing well.

Well the month of July has came and gone.... Here is what happened...

~Olivia turned 1 on the 15th
~We had her party on the 25th and it was great, water toys, hot dogs, burgers, cake and new toys
~A lot of work for Marty and I....
~Lots of playing with the kids

July 31 - August 2 - Maryland Trip for Adam's Family Reunion

~Long trip... 6 hours driving with Marty, Me, Nathan, Olivia, Amara (our niece) and the Mother in law
~Great time in MD
~Lots of family to meet
~Even Long trip back... I just about pulled my hair out.... but all in all was a great trip

Well that is about all that has when on with us...

Well it has been a month since I last did a blog.... I need to get better at this...

We went to the beach for the 4th it was great, Nathan had so much fun. He played in the water and in the sand. He would run up to the water and when the waves would come in turn around and run away from them... it was to funny. My parents went down with us and it was great to spend the time with them. I know that they enjoyed it too because they had Nathan all to them self's for a few days which they really dont get when we are home.


I didnt want to leave, of course I never want to leave the beach. I love it so much down there.... But we had to come home. Olivia didnt get to go with us this time but she will get to soon.


Speaking of Olivia; she turns 1 next Wednesday and she is trying to walk... It is so exciting to see her grow up.. She and Nathan are getting so big it blows my mind. Marty and I cant believe that the kids are getting older... I think deep down we want them to stay small forever, back to reality we really dont... The fits, crying, diapers, changing bed sheets at 3am, we will NOT miss that... Nathan turns 2 in September.

Wedding 4/25/09

OK So Marty and I are already married but we are having a wedding on the anniversary of our first date. I know it sounds funny but we got married on Jan 21, 2009 and we are now having our wedding. I am so excited I cant wait till it is here and I get to put on my beautiful dress and walk down the isle to the man of my dreams... After the wedding we are heading down to the coast for a nice get away with no kids and will be gone for 5 days and 4 nights. I truly don't know what I am more excited about the wedding or vacation with no kids.... But I know that it will all be wonderful. I will post an update after the wedding with pictures.

We had a wonderful Easter. We got up ate breakfast and then had our baths, got dressed and headed to church. Then we had lunch with the family at Moose Cafe at the Farmers Market and then went home to rest. Here are pictures of our day.

WOW!!

It's been forever since I did a blog so I thought it was about time....

Well Nathan, Olivia and I have been sick. Nathan and Olivia had ear infections, and I have strept and when I went to the doctor the test came back negtive but my white blood count was to high so that is what they decided I had... Whatever but I feel so much better so I guess that is what I had... Thank God Marty didnt get sick so that he could take care of all of us. Besides that all is well in the Scales household...

We have a new pres so we are all happy about that ready for some changes to take place.
